Seeking to bring better support and resources for end-user training, SAP this week announced it will acquire datango, which sells workforce performance support software. The acquisition fits into SAP’s strategy to extend learning software in its portfolio, according to Markus Schwarz, who is the senior vice president and global head of SAP Education. datango allows customers to collect, build, package, and disseminate training to their end users by creating end user documentation, work aids, simulations, and small e-learning programs for SAP, and all kinds of processes that run between an SAP system
